Museum Hard Hat Tours!

We are offering Hard Hat Tours of the new museum on Saturdays over the coming weeks.

Tours last about 1 hour. Please contact the Museum to reserve your spot.

 

Museum Royale Event
Saturday Oct 13, 2007

Complete with casino gaming tables, martinis and James Bond’s signature Aston Martin, the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum is hosting “Museum Royale,” a fundraising event on Saturday, October 13.

This event is a final push before the museum’s planned opening of two floors of the museum in mid-December. The event will take place at the San Luis Obispo Country Club.

Guests will be entertained by casino tables, a putting tournament, live and silent auctions, and a martini bar (shaken, not stirred, of course), all peppered with James Bond theatrics.

Don't worry, we're still out and about!

Children's Day at the Plaza on April 8th, 2006

Children and families take part in an edible engineering challenge to build tall structures with marshmallows, gumdrops and toothpicks at the Museum's booth. Visitors also caught a sneak peak of some of the exhibits planned for the new Museum, scheduled to open in Spring 2008.
